A 45-year-old Colombian woman pronounced dead by a doctor shocked a funeral worker by returning to life. Noelia Serna was taken to hospital after suffering a heart attack and was supported on a life support machine before doctors pronounced her dead. At the funeral parlour a worker noticed her moving and saw that she was breathing before sending her back to hospital. It is thought Ms Serna was suffering from Lazarus Syndrome, a condition that sees your breathing and heart rate drop to an extremely low level before returning to normal. (February 19, 2010)
